These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Syntriq service operated by Syntriq, Inc. ("Syntriq", "we", "us"). By using Syntriq you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old. By using Syntriq, you confirm you meet this requirement and have the authority to bind any entity you sign up on behalf of.
2. Your account
- You're responsible for everything that happens under your account, including the actions of teammates you invite.
- Keep your password secure. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
- One person per free account. Sharing accounts to bypass paid plan limits is prohibited.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- Free trial: 14-day free trial on paid plans. No credit card required to start.
- Billing: Subscriptions auto-renew monthly or annually until cancelled. We send a receipt for every charge.
- Refunds: We offer a 30-day no-questions-asked refund. Email hi@syntriq.app.
- Cancellation: Cancel anytime in your billing settings. Your plan continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Price changes: We'll give 30 days' notice for any price increase to existing customers.
- Failed payments: After 14 days of failed payment, your account is downgraded to the Free plan. Scheduled posts may be paused until you update your payment method.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Syntriq to:
- Publish illegal content, hate speech, harassment, threats, or content that violates the policies of the platforms you publish to.
- Send spam, run scams, or impersonate others.
- Abuse the connected platform APIs (e.g., posting at volumes that violate the platform's terms).
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the source code or data of other Syntriq users.
- Resell access to Syntriq without a written agency or partner agreement.
Violating these may result in account suspension or termination, with no refund.
5. Your content
You retain all ownership of the content you create and schedule. By using Syntriq you grant us a limited license to host, process, and publish your content on the platforms you connect — strictly to provide the service you're paying for.
6. Third-party platforms
Syntriq publishes to third-party platforms (X, Meta, TikTok, Google) using their official APIs. Each platform has its own terms, rate limits, and policies. We are not responsible for changes to those platforms' APIs, outages, or content moderation decisions made by them.
7. Service availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime but make no guarantee. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Syntriq at any time. We'll give 30 days' notice before discontinuing the entire service.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Syntriq is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Syntriq for any third-party claims arising from your use of the service, including content you publish or your violation of these Terms.
10. Termination
- You may terminate your account anytime in billing settings.
- We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms, with reasonable notice when possible.
- Upon termination, you'll have 30 days to export your data before deletion.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Delaware.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days in advance.
